Question: i dont really wash my face everyday, i splash water on but not soap, i am unshaven so in this heat working and sweating working outdoors, would this cause a bit of psoriasis? i shaved today and i noticed one little red circular mark on my chin, and two under my jaw area, i have psoriasis on my scalp and had it for years, but never on my face, in fact i used to have sideburns and they grew a bit and when i shaved them i had a bit of psoriasis under them and after washing and cleansing it went, so is it same thing as i didnt wash enough after sweating etc????
Answer: No, its a disease process that can affect your face, but isnt caused by washing your face. Altho theres no cure for psoriasis, you may wish to consult a dermatologist who can prescribe medicated ointments for your face to help prevent outbreaks. Good luck
