Question: I think my psoriasis has something to do with my tonsils. I got strep throat and started getting breakouts of the disease. None of the topographical creams work, ONLY sunlight and UV treatment. After light treatment once a week I have no sign of the disease. Does anyone know if removing my tonsils will reduce the breakouts? I have read about some studies online, but no definite results.
Answer: There is NO cure, just lots of treatments. Once I had psoriasis, I got strep then had those little raindrops of psoriasis - wow, a new kind! Like my old kind wasn't enough!Lucky for you that only a week of light treatment works! So stick with that.
