 | Is it possible to get Eczema on you penis? |

Question: Years ago I had jock itch got some cream and *poof* it was gone. Then a few years later I got an itch down there again so I put on some more cream and it went away. But it came back after a few months. Now it just clears up a little but as soon as I stop using the cream it starts itching again. It's a 1 inch square patch that gets dry, cracked and very itchy. I know it's not anything sexually transmitted because I was tested when I went to the doctor for the jock itch and I haven't had sex since then. Past couple of days I've put some vasaline on because it's so dry. Is this a bad thing to do?
Answer: Yes, it is possible to get both eczema and psoriasis on penis. Both usually affect other parts of body but can sometimes appear on the penis first. Psoriasis looks like thickened red plague with well defined edges, it can have a scaly surfice.Eczema also looks like red plague but with poorly defined edges and a little bit scally. It often causes irritation. Both eczema and psoriasis are successfully treated.Applying vaseline or the equivalent is generally ok to do
