 | Regular dandruff vs. seasonal dry scalp? |

Question: I know this is kind of personal but having black hair I can tell you this is a pretty embarrassing problem. In the winter when the humidity declines I get so flaky no matter how great my hygiene is. Does seasonal dry scalp require a different treatment than regular dandruff? I've noticed dandruff shampoo seems to make the problem worse. Because regular dandruff happens when there's too much oil and dry scalp happens when there's a lack of oil, right? So you think I should take an opposite approach and apply conditioner instead?
Answer: This is important and it's common sense. Make sure you rinse your hair really well to get rid of dead scalp skin and any soap still in your hair.
