Question: i need a remedy soon as my psoriasis is out of control at the moment, dont really know what to do. I dont want any of these creams(so called miracle) that i have spend in total in the last 6 monts £3000 , yes am i mad or what , but i have learned my lesson, i only want psoriasis sufferers to answer this painful question, any ideas , i have tried everything from the GP and nothing works, what has worked for you as psoriasis sufferer, wouls love your genuine answer?
Answer: Hello,i have suffered psoriasis for over 30 years now,and i am hospitalised for around 4 months of the year,i have 85% coverage all over my body ,face genitals &hands and feet.There is NO CURE no magic potions!first off you MUST get refered to a dermotologist immediatly,insist on it.there are many treatments, as you have heard,which will ease it for you and perhaps if your lucky get rid of it,The basic care is bathing or showering-always remember water makes your skin dry -use a oil treatment like Diprobath in your water,then apply a hydrous cream on infected areas-allow time for this everyday.you may be given oral medication such as the ones mentioned (a lot of people have results with methotextrate)but i am sure your consultant will find something to help,there are new drugs coming out regularly but as its not a killer disease its at the bottom of the research tree,good luck i you truly hope are able to beat it ,you have my heartfelt sorrow,try ignoring that helps too,if you wish to talk or learn more feel free to IM me.THERE'S NOT MUCH I DONT KNOW ABOUT IT.
