Answer: I was diagnosed with a mild case of psoriasis many years ago when I was about 25. This was the first time that any such symptoms had appeared. The doctor promptly informed me that no one knows what causes psoriasis and that no cure exists. He recommended that I try some over-the-counter products at a local drug store. For many years I used Oxipor, which can be bought at Walgreen's and does an effective job of dealing with the symptoms. But after many years, I happened to come upon a better solution to the problem. One day, while perusing the Internet, my ex-wife came upon an article which suggested that sugar might be the cause of psoriasis. Immediately, I tried a very difficult experiment: I gave up sugar. Within only a few days, the psoriasis was gone. I doubt that this is the "cure" for everyone, but it worked for me and it might be worth a try.
