Question: I had an outreak of guttate psoriasis, please contimue below,?and i was recomended strong topical steroids and occulsion (wrapping a bandage around the treated area), im happy to report that i have been symptom free for over a year now but due to my harsh treatment the skin on my arms and legs are very red. i also have a mild case of folliculitis but that is responding well to treatment. however im being treated with laser theraphy to improve the redness and i was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or has any suggestions for treatment assuming the laser does not work. thankyou for your time.
Answer: It's probably not safe to try a lot of over the counter products for this redness. I would go talk to a dermatologist who specializeds in psoriasis and knows what products minimize the redness after symptoms stop.In the meantime, you could try some NATURAL cocoa butter for the area. PLEASE don't get the stuff that isn't 100% NATURAL...it's not good for your skin. You won't see fast results, but it'll improve the condition and color of your skin
